Where are all you Pittsburgh Penguins fans? In Indiana County, that's where! On Friday, Dec. 1, 2017, Pittsburgh Penguins Chief Operating Officer Travis Williams will serve as the keynote speaker at Chamber's 105th Annual Membership Luncheon at the Kovalchick Complex in the Ed Fry Arena. This is an exciting opportunity for Pens fans and business professionals as we will learn how the Penguins operate from a business perspective. As the Chief Operating Officer, Mr. Williams oversees finance, legal affairs, technology, business development, and arena operations. Sponsorship and Advertising Opportunities are available. High level sponsors will receive passes to a VIP reception with Mr. Williams prior to the luncheon. The event will also feature a highlight video from the Penguins 2016-17 Stanley Cup championship run. The deadline to register is next Wednesday, Nov. 22.

Trees for Troops Day Hosted By Trees for Troops Day Committee Saturday, December 2nd, 2017 At Fleming’s Christmas Tree Farms, 1803 Fleming Road Indiana, PA 15701

In the Spirit of Christmas, come join us as we say “Thank You” to all our active duty men and women serving our country. Join us on Saturday, December 2, 2017 from 9:00AM to 5:00PM, when you will be able to purchase a tree individually or contribute towards the purchase of a tree.

Come and enjoy many activities including a Concession Stand; Horse Drawn Wagon Rides; Kids Activity Center; Visit from Santa; Picture Opportunities; Face Painting; and Live Entertainment. If you are unable to attend that day, you can still contribute to this great cause by contacting Fleming’s Christmas Tree Farm at 724.463.0570.

Special tree price for this at Fleming’s is $25.00 for a 6’ Christmas tree. Each tree will have a tag on it with the donor’s name. We encourage you to send a special message with your tree. The Hot Sardines bring people together with classic jazz through their unique, energized style. Their horn arrangements, vocals, and piano melodies bring us back to another time with their impressive range and variety. New York-based the Hot Sardines will add in a few holiday tunes and team up with the IUP Jazz Ensemble for a one-of-a-kind concert experience. The event starts at 7 p.m.
